I just heard from my editor, the wonderful Juliet Ulman, that she’s ready to start the editorial work on PRODIGAL. As I haven’t quite finished the first draft yet, I’ll be sending over the first 400 pages so she can do her thing while I’m wrapping up over the next few weeks. That way, we can aim for a late-summer, early-fall release next year.

I’m not a full-fledged member of the Cult of Mac, but I do have a Powerbook G4 that I really like, and bought an iPod way before the little device captured the cultural zeitgeist with its scroll wheel and tiny white earbuds. One of the coolest things about getting a book published is the amazing cross-section of people who read your work–everybody from engineers to schoolteachers to stay-at-home moms.
