You Want Fries With That?

Yes, I know I'm cute...Not that I’m biased or anything, but I happen to have the cutest, sweetest little daughter in the world. After all, who could resist this face? I know I can’t–especially when she walks up to me and asks, “Wanna cuddle, daddy?”

She does, however, have some interesting eating habits. Her favorite game these days is to store one last bite of food in ...

Getting Closer

I just heard from my editor, the wonderful Juliet Ulman, that she’s ready to start the editorial work on PRODIGAL. As I haven’t quite finished the first draft yet, I’ll be sending over the first 400 pages so she can do her thing while I’m wrapping up over the next few weeks. • Real Player Format
  • It’s pretty cool stuff–especially the part with Jennifer Connelly, who would be fabulous in the role of Avalon if Hammerjack makes it to film. Check it out and let me know what you think.

When is a book not just a book? When it becomes a cultural phenomenon.

Would it surprise you to know that The Da Vinci Code originally had a print run of only 50,000 copies? Or that the first Harry Potter novel was rejected multiple times before getting picked up by a small publisher of children’s books? The way these works have changed the world, it’s hard to imagine that their authors were once unknowns hustling for ...
