Back in Black

Man, more than four weeks without a post.  I know, that was pretty derelict of me–but I have excuses, I swear!  The trouble all started at work, when a brand new server (whose maker shall remain nameless, but I’ll give you a hint:  it rhymes with “hell”) went belly up after only six weeks in operation.  It wouldn’t have been so bad, except that said server happened to be hosting Microsoft Exhchange at the time.

As I work for a law ...

Pass the Cheetos

Looks like Stephen Youll, sci-fi artist extraordinaire, has been working overtime. So without further ado, please allow me to present his cover art for PRODIGAL!

I’m definitely sensing an Underworld vibe here…

Personally, I love it. The color scheme really grabs your attention, especially those deep red hues on the city skyline. So does the slinky babe–which, based on her attire and appearance, can only be Avalon. Bad guys (and girls, ...

Mass Market Appeal

It’s amazing what you can find out when surfing Amazon’s website. Take Hammerjack, for instance–I had absolutely no idea that Bantam was doing a mass market paperback release until my wife checked the listings there and said, “Hey, hon–what’s this?”

Ah, the speed of information in the digital age!

Anyway, it’s official: the li’l paperback edition goes on sale August 29. The cover art isn’t posted yet, but I imagine it’ll be a smaller version of the trade ...
